From concept to creation, Chris Agnese — a Portuguese-Brazilian filmmaker, storyteller, educator, and multidisciplinary artist living in the United States — has been bringing dreams to life since 2007. With a rich background in film, advertising, and narrative arts, she has worn many hats — from assistant director to director — shaping stories that transcend borders and mediums.

Now, she begins a new chapter with Inhapi Studio — a story hub born from both craft and lineage. Inhapi is the name of a small city in the Northeast of Brazil, where Chris’s father grew up. There, he spent time with Indigenous communities who taught him the meaning of resilience, strength, and what it truly means to be a warrior.

Inspired by those ancestral lessons — and by the transformative power of storytelling to heal, reimagine, and connect — Chris founded Inhapi Studio to bring visionary, multicultural narratives to life. Rooted in collaboration and driven by curiosity, the studio honors complexity, culture, and transformation at every step.
